Why pick me?
As a parent myself, I naturally always want the best for my children. If it was myself researching websites looking for the best driving school for my son or daughter, I would find it pretty difficult to choose. So why pick me?
You’ve probably already been recommended to this website by a friend. I do not spend money advertising other than the costs associated with this website. For that reason you will not see me at the top of the Google rankings. Despite this my diary is nearly always full and I sometimes have a waiting list. Almost all of my new business is generated by word of mouth from previous students and their families.
If you’re looking for the cheapest instructor, then I’m not your man. Some things in life are too important to cut costs on. You’ll be pleased to hear that I’m far from the most expensive either. When your son or daughter starts their learning journey with me, I pledge that I will do everything in my power to encourage them to be a safe driver for life. There is a lot more to driving than simply passing your test. I will help to develop and nurture skills that will enable students to cope with the pressures of driving solo after passing. My students will be capable, courteous and knowledgeable drivers by the end of their training.
I’m happy to have dialogue with parents during training, especially if the student is fortunate enough to have access to the family car for practice. I understand how stressful it is for the parent to sit in the passenger seat and I’m happy to help in any way I can. You’re also most welcome to sit in on a lesson if you think it could help although I will only do this if the student is comfortable with the idea. Otherwise I’m always available by text if you have any questions between lessons. We need to work together to reach our common goal.
I am also able to offer access to additional qualifications. I am a qualified BTEC Trainer and Vocational Assessor which means I can both deliver and assess BTEC Awards, more details here. These are a welcome addition to any CV or Personal Statement and also can increase your UCAS points. An additional bonus is offered by some insurance companies who offer generous discounts to students completing their Level 2 Award.
On passing the practical driving test, there is also the opportunity to complete the Pass Plus syllabus. This covers various topics such as rural driving and motorways and can be tailored to the requirements of the individual.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me on 07958 299026 or use the Contact form on this site. I aim to reply to all enquiries within two hours.
I look forward to working with your son or daughter in the future.
